Friday, April the 16th, 2021, 5-7 PM, webinar panel:
Two Calls for Vajont, International Artistic Contest: restart_phase.
Line and Wall: giving the floor to the artists
The International Artistic Contest Two Calls for Vajont was launched by Dolomiti Contemporanee in 2014.
In March 2021, Two Calls has received a special mention from Mibact in the context of the European Council Landscape Award.
Now, thanks to a collaboration with the ETRAR.T.E. Cultural Association (Expressive Land Revivial), with the support of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, the Contest has been relaunched, and now enters its final phase, which will lead to the actual realisation of the winning art pieces (90° cw, by Andrea Nacciarriti; Remrite/rewrite, by Dimitri Giannina).
Friday, April the 16th, DC and Etrarte offer a panel called: Two Calls for Vajont_restart. Line and Wall: giving the floor to the artists
After the first panel (February 2021, more info here [ITA]), during which a few curators have explored the theme of public art in relation to the cultivation and care of landscapes, _restart offers another meeting, during which the floor, as the title suggests, is given to the artists themselves.
Some of the projects that reached the final of the Call for a Line and Call for a Wall are going to be presented directly by those who designed them.
During its first phase, Two calls has made it possible to gather nearly two-hundred project proposals.
A great collective work, imaginative and projective, which enabled the implementation of the platform for reflection launched in the Vajont area, nurturing it with constructive thoughts and images.

Two Calls for Vajont, Concorso Artistico Internazionale: fase _restart.
Venerdì 16 aprile, DC ed Etrarte propongono il panel: Two Calls for Vajont_restart.
