The Twocalls contest is also supported by the Dolomites Unesco Foundation, an organization that deals with the conservation and the enhancement of the Dolomites, world heritage since 2009.
In particular, Marcella Morandini, general secretary of the
Foundation, joined the Jury of the Contest, on behalf the organization.

Il Concorso Twocalls è patrocinato anche dalla Fondazione Dolomiti Unesco, ente che si occupa a vari livelli della tutela e dalla valorizzazione delle Dolomiti, bene Unesco dal 2009.

angela vettese, maria centonze and marc augé, members of the jury of twocalls, were in Casso a few days ago, learning more about the context in which the Contest acts.

 

following a text with the considerations by gianluca d’incà levis, curator of dolomiti contemporanee, on the value of the contest and a call to the artists.

The French anthropologist Marc Augé, member of the Jury of Twocalls, came to visit the Vajont area, to explore the Contest‘s project sites and to learn more about Dolomiti Contemporanee‘s activities.
He brought his reflections about the Vajont Tragedy and the meaning of a contemporary art Contest here nowadays.

It is possible, for the artists interested in the Contest, to take part in a survey of the Spazio in Casso and of the crowning of the Vajont Dam.
The guided visits of the Dam’s crowning are handled in collaboration with the Dolomiti Friulane Nature Park and with Erto and Casso’s Pro Loco*

The visits are available in the following days:
-   July: every Saturday and Sunday, from 10 am  to 5 pm, every half hour;
-   August: every day, from 10 am  to 5 pm, every half hour;
-   September/october: on sundays visits from 10 am to 5 pm, starting every half hour
(duration: 40 minutes).
