following the decision to extend the deadline for the submission of the artistic projects for twocalls to 30th april 2015, here are the new arrangements for the visits to the crowning of the vajont dam, for the next months.
starting from november there will no longer be the possibility to attend the daily visits to the dam, as during the summer.
the spazio di casso as well will be closed to the public from the 9th of november.
since now, the visits to the dam will be possible, then, one day a week.
dates and schedules will be announced, from time to time, on this website and on twocalls facebook page.
Reservations with a reasonable advance are required. The visit is free of charge. Please respect the timetable set. The meeting point is at the park near the dam.
during the days in which the visits are scheduled, dolomiti contemporanee‘s staff will be present in the nuovo spazio di casso.

in seguito alla proroga del termine ultimo di consegna dei progetti artistici di twocalls al 30 aprile 2015, si segnalano qui le modalità attraverso cui sarà possibile, nei prossimi mesi, visitare la Diga del Vajont.
A partire da novembre, non sono più previste infatti visite quotidiane alla Diga, come invece nel periodo estivo.
Lo stesso Spazio di Casso, chiuderà al pubblico a partire dal 9 novembre.
Le visite alla Diga saranno dunque possibili, d’ora in poi, solo un giorno a settimana.
Le date e gli orari verranno indicate, di volta in volta, su questo website e sulla pagina facebook di twocalls. E’ necessario prenotare la visita, che è gratuita, attenendosi con precisione agli orari stabiliti. La visita parte dal parcheggio della Diga. Nei giorni previsti per le visite, personale di Dolomiti Contemporanee sarà presente presso il Nuovo Spazio di Casso.

On 18th July, at 5 pm at the Nuovo Spazio di Casso, the results of Twocalls will be presented to the public.
During the event there will also be the opening of twocalls, la forma delle idee (twocalls, the shape of ideas, in English), where a selection of the finalist projects will be exhibited.

The Twocalls Contest entered its second phase. Lots of projects have been submitted in the latest days of the first phase, kept the Evaluation Committee busy longer than expected.
The Jury will nominate the winners in June.
Here a video, realized with the event Vajont 2015 – Progetti, held on 2 May in Casso, in which some members of the Jury, participants, inhabitants of the Vajont area, intertwine their opinions and ideas on the meaning of Twocalls regarding the history of Vajont and of its territory.

On April the 30th the first phase of the International Artistic Contest Two Calls for Vajont, launched in June 2014 by Dolomiti Contemporanee drew to a close.
The Contest was conceived as an open platform of reflection on the territory of the Vajont and on its terrible history (October the 9th 1963), and as an opportunity to rethink, through the production of a series of renovating images, the landscape and some of the main symbols of that history today, transforming them from still objects-memories of the tragedy into active and shared “construction sites” of the mind and spirit.
